Breakfast replenishes your body from a fasting state and is fuel for your day. I once read you should think of your day as a pyramid and breakfast as the foundation. That is genius, so we wanted to make that a visual.
When you eat breakfast the benefits for your day and health are too good to ignore. Regular breakfast eaters have been shown to maintain a healthier weight. Breakfast can kick-start your metabolism and help you make healthier choices throughout your day. For example, a great tip to prevent overeating before a party or holiday meal is to eat breakfast. This ensures that you won’t feel famished when you arrive and won’t be tempted to go overboard on every indulgence.
Breakfast also can help boost memory and improve concentration. Whether you have a presentation at work or big game to play, breakfast will help you focus to do your best. In addition, the No. 1 meal of the day can help ward off diseases such as type 2 diabetes and congestive heart failure.
Isn’t breakfast amazing? Please keep in mind however, that not all breakfasts are created equal.
