No, it’s not a smoothie, yogurt or juice flavor. It’s another oatmeal bowl from Kim Lee of Kim’s Cravings. Her Strawberry Banana Oatmeal is “simple, but oh so yummy.”
As Kim states:
“My trick for this oatmeal flavor is to add in a mashed ripe banana during the cooking process. This makes the oats creamier and gives them a lovely sweet flavor. Just make sure your banana is ripe – the browner the banana, the sweeter! Last but not least, you’ve got the TOPPINGS. The more mix-ins the better in my opinion. These always change and are totally optional, but the ones I love in this bowl are chopped strawberries (of course), chia seeds, some crushed/chopped pistachios (slivered almonds are another favorite) and a sprinkle of unsweetened shredded coconut. After I get everything in the bowl, I always like to add a splash of almond milk because I like my oats with a little more liquid.”

Thanks for stopping by. Yes you can omit the chia seeds from the recipe, if you would like.
