Spring has sprung, and while the weather is heating up, your breakfast can be cooling off. We know that maybe on a sweltering day when you feel the heat early in the morning, sometimes (and we mean sometimes) a warm bowl of oatmeal just doesn’t sound appealing. Don’t worry, you’re in luck! You can still enjoy your Coach’s Oats in a cooler way.
Check out our recipes below for overnight oatmeal. Not only are the recipes delicious, cool and nutritious, they are fast, too. What could be quicker in the morning than grabbing a bowl of oatmeal ready to go?
If you prefer a thicker, richer flavor, enjoy the yogurt version (1). If you prefer lighter, creamier oatmeal, enjoy the milk version (2). Both are delicious and will keep you away from the microwave and stove in the morning. Do you have any “cool” breakfast recipes?

I just won some Coach's oats and can't wait to try some recipes with them 🙂
Suzi,
Thanks for stopping by! Can't wait for you try them too! Keep us posted 🙂
will give these a try and see if the picky hubby with high cholestral will go for it 🙂
mmmmmmmmmm I ran out of regular oats today! actually, that's a good thing b/c I can now get Coach's! 😛 Ever since eyeing them at Costco and then other blogs, I've been pretty curious!
I am a chocolate lover and add 1 or more Tbs. organic cocoa powder to my mix. It is so good I could eat it as dessert.
Oh Betty that sounds so yummy! Thanks so much for sharing with us! Who doesn’t love chocolate!?
These recipes sound amazing!! I can’t wait to try these 😊😊😊
Thanks for stopping by 🙂
What I do is use a jar (usually plastic) with a screw on lid then place the various ingredients in the jar, then in fridge, then ready the next morning to take to work with me. I do make my own oat milk (with your oats) and my own almond milk. Many times I use just water. I also put whole almonds as an ingredient and the liquid softens them overnight. I also use some salt as salt is an essential mineral for our bodies.
Has anyone had success with the 2nd recipe above? I put ⅓ cup Coach’s Oats and 1 cup oat milk, plus some maple syrup and a few frozen blueberries in a mason jar, stirred well, put on a lid, shook, and the next morning the oats had settled to the bottom and hadn’t absorbed any of the milk.
I gave it a good stir and a shake and the next day there was no improvement, still very watery. So I added a bunch of chia to thicken. It was tastier but more like a smoothie than oatmeal. HELP?
I LOVE Coach’s Oats ever since finding them in a Hawaii Costco (but not in chilly PacNW). We order them on-line (hopefully Organic is/will be available again soon.
I use the microwave or the Instant Pot, too with hemp seeds, organic blueberries, organic walnuts and homemade organic kefir.
I’ve made buckwheat granola using rolled oats and raw buckwheat. Coach’s Oats must be less hard than buckwheat. COB granola, I think. It would be like Grape Nuts perhaps. CO is used on a baked pumpkin dessert topping so, I think it’s possible.
Thoughts?
Hi Sandra,
I think that our oats would work great for that application. Our oats are unique in that you can cook them in the microwave, stove and bake with them but they keep that signature texture.
