
You can cook oatmeal on the stove, cook it in the microwave, bake it and now you can fry it. The recipe is easy and the result is similar to French toast, so tasty!
All you need is cooked oatmeal cooled in a pan. We used our Baked Pumpkin Oatmeal. Slice the oatmeal into desired shapes, such as triangles, or use festive cookie cutters to make fun designs. Heat a skillet to medium heat and coat with 1-2 Tbsp. canola oil, coconut oil or an oil of your choice. Place sliced oatmeal in pan and cook on each side for 1 minute or until golden. Top with powdered sugar or a drizzle of maple syrup.
