Oatmeal Cookie Recipe October 22, 2009 By Oat Girl 17 Comments Facebook Twitter Google+ Pinterest Print Some Good Ole' Fashion Oatmeal Cookies Ingredients ¾ cup butter 1/2 cup sugar 1 cup packed brown sugar 1 tsp baking powder ¼ tsp baking soda 1 ¾ cup all-purpose flour ¼ tsp of salt 2 eggs 2 tsp vanilla 2 tsp ground cinnamon 2 cups of Coach’s Oats 1 cup of raisins * Instructions In a mixing bowl, beat butter with electric mixer for 30 seconds. Add sugars, salt, baking powder, baking soda, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon and about half the flour. Beat until thoroughly combined. Beat in remaining flour. Stir in oats and raisins**. Drop by rounded teaspoons on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375º for 12-15 minutes or until edges are golden. Cool cookies on a wire rack. Enjoy *For softer cookie use 1 cup Coach's Oats and 1 cup rolled oats **Replace raisins with chocolate chips (Coach Lizzy's favorite!), dried cranberries, or butterscotch chips.
