It’s summer time. Are you looking for snacks or appetizers for a backyard get-together? Try Coach’s Oats® crackers and spread with Laughing Cow Cheese for a fun, oat-standing snack.
Base for all three cracker flavors:
Ingredients:
• ½ cup whole wheat flour
• ¼ cup unbleached white flour
• 2 Tbsp. Coach’s Oats®
• ⅛ tsp. baking soda
• ¼ tsp. salt
• 5-6 Tbsp. water
Preheat oven to 350°. In medium sized bowl, mix together flours, oats, baking soda and salt.
For Parmesan Cheese Oat Crackers:
Ingredients:
• 3 Tbsp. grated Parmesan Cheese
• 2 tsp. dried chives
Add parmesan and chives into flour mixture. Mix in water one tablespoon at a time and combine until dough sticks together. Be careful not to add too much liquid.
Roll dough on wax paper until paper thin. Cut into desired shapes. Place on non-stick cookie sheet and bake for 10 min.
For Veggie Oat Crackers:
Ingredients:
2 tsp. dried onion
• 2 tsp. dried cilantro
• ¼ tsp. celery seed
Add onion, cilantro, and celery seed to flour mixture. Mix in water one tablespoon at a time and combine until dough sticks together. Be careful not to add too much liquid.
Roll dough on wax paper until paper thin. Cut into desired shapes. Place on non-stick cookie sheet and bake for 10 min.
For Sesame Seed Oat Crackers:
Ingredients:
• 3 ½ Tbsp. of sesame seeds
Add sesame seeds into flour mixture. Mix in water one tablespoon at a time and combine until dough sticks together. Be careful not to add too much liquid.
Roll dough on wax paper until paper thin.Cut into desired shapes.Place on non-stick cookie sheet and bake for 10 min.
I used to live on Laughing Cow cheese! Great (portion-sized) snack. I love the cracker recipes and can't wait to try them!
