Easy, New, Three Ingredient Oatmeal Recipes
What does your oatmeal mood ring say? Is it cloudy gray oats, oats and more oats, day in and day out boring? Or is it green with bowl envy due to the ever impressive, lovely and illusive oatmeal creations on social media? Are you left wondering how to achieve a delicious bowl of oatmeal in a real-life, fast paced, poorly lit, “normal” kitchen? We’re here to help revive your oat game and refresh your morning mojo. We’ve set out to create three new oatmeal creations that are quick, easy, limited to three ingredients and, most importantly, not boring.
Non Boring Oatmeal Criteria
However, we did set certain criteria for our new breakfast bowls. The first is: nothing too exotic. Every ingredient can be found at your local grocery store. No super berries from the east side of that Western Island that only blooms for an hour on Feb. 29.
The second: is it must be fast. None of the toppings will require 30 minutes or days of prep time. Although it is great to prepare your own jams, nut butters or milks, these bowls can be achieved even when your fridge has five things left in it and the pantry is in serious need of re-stocking.
And lastly: they are new! We want to mix up the flavors. We are not relying on the tried and true such as raisin, apple, cinnamon or even brown sugar and maple syrup.
So are you ready? Here are our non-boring, fast, easy and three ingredient oatmeal recipes:
Please note:
*We are not counting the oats as an ingredient. Rather, oats are the vehicle with which you will get to enjoy the toppings.
*Of course, you can add more toppings if you have them! We’re just jealous of your time and all those extra goodies.
*We created the recipes using water, as it’s probably the easiest. Feel free to switch your cooking liquid; however we are not counting that as an ingredient.
*Recipes were created for single-serving purposes.
(⅓ cup Coach’s Oats® + 1 cup water. Cooked at 70% power in microwave for 3 ½ minutes.)
*We’d love to hear more ideas. Please feel free to send, snap, comment, tag, email, etc., any creations you would like to share with us. And tell all of your friends how awesome Coach’s Oats are.
Recipes:
Super Food Bowl –
(This bowl will require the most effort)
Spinach
Blueberries
Honey
Puree a handful of spinach with water. An immersion blender, personal blender or regular blender does this in no time. Cook oats in greens mixture. Top with blueberries and honey. Boom! That’s four super foods in one easy, quick bowl.
Trail Mixed –
(This bowl can require the least amount of time or effort)
Peanuts (or any nut of choice)
Dried cranberries (or dried fruit of choice)
Chocolate pieces (chips, M&Ms, etc.)
*Feel free to use prepacked trail mix to really save time.
Top cooked oats with mixture. That’s it. You have a combo of healthy fats, a little crunch, protein and a chocolatey treat to blaze your breakfast trail.
Breakfast Jammed –
(A combo of a few usually toast-topping ingredients added to oatmeal instead!)
Jam (we used blackberry)
Reduced fat cream cheese
Chopped snacking nuts (we used pistachios but any nut will do)
Top cooked oatmeal with ingredients and take your breakfast from toast to tOATS!

Are Coaches Oats available in grocery stores?
Thanks for stopping by Joyce. Currently, it just depends on where you are located as far as national availability. Feel free to send us an email with where you are located and we can best answer your question: coachsoats@coachsoats.com.
I enjoy using a nut milk for half the required liquid–provides just a little more protein! Careful, though; it tends to bubble over your bowl if you’re not careful–I just use a bigger bowl!
Thanks so much for sharing Sandra! We love cooking the oats with other liquids too, the options are endless!
I can eat just about anything; but when I was a child it made me vomit. I was wondering if there are any recipes in which you do not have to cook them, and they’d be as healthy. Thank you!
Judy, we have a bunch of no-cook recipes. Here is a link to our Overnight Oatmeal recipes! Thanks for being a fan! https://coachsoats.com/category/overnight-oatmeal/
