Born and raised in Newport Beach, California, Kaleigh is an accomplished duel sport athlete in water polo and surfing.
A 2x olympic gold medalist in water polo, Kaleigh first won a CIF championship at Newport Harbor High School and co-captained the 2013 NCAA Championship team at USC. From there, she competed in the 2016 Rio Summer Olympic Games scoring 6 goals and helping bring home the gold for the United States. She went on to double her gold medal count in the 2020 Tokyo games.
Kaleigh also trains and competes as a professional surfer. She represented the United States at 5 different ISA (International Surf Association) World Championships where she won back-to-back Surfing America titles in 2009 and 2010. She was crowed the best 18 and under female surfer in America that year and named Orange County Register Athlete of the Year.
Kaleigh has her eyes set for Paris 2024 in water polo all while balancing competing in the World Surf League.
