If you’re ever in need of a big batch of Coach’s Oats, fear not. We have the solutions. Whether food-prepping for the week ahead or feeding a large crowd, cooking a large serving of oatmeal is a cinch.
We’ve shared before how affordable and easy our oats are to prepare for a crowd in “Entertaining with Oatmeal.” We used a rice cooker in that post. However, today the Instant Pot has replaced a rice cooker for many. We heard from our fan, Christina S. and she told us how she prepares Coach’s Oats for the week and we had to share.
Use water to-oats ratios as provided on the bag.
For this post we used 2 cups Coach’s Oats and 6 cups water.
(Christina adds a pinch of salt)
Hit the “porridge” button on the Instant Pot and that’s it.
We adjusted the time to 9 minutes.
Store the oats in individual containers in the refrigerator for the week or set up a yummy oatmeal bar for your lucky guests.
Don’t have an Instant Pot or rice cooker? No Problem, boiling the oats in a large pot provides the same result and takes relatively the same amount of time.
Do you have a recipe you use Coach’s Oats with? We’d love to hear and even share!
