Not only is September “Better Breakfast Month”, but I have joined (along with members of the Coach’s Oats team) Food Network’s Healthy Eats Brown Bag Challenge for the month.
The challenge involves taking your lunch to work for the entire month of September. By taking lunch to work, you are more likely to make healthy choices, save money and pack snacks, so you’re not unbearably hungry at any point throughout the day.
I’ve seen a bunch of posts lately about creative and decorative ways to pack children’s lunches. How to cut a sandwich so it looks like a cartoon character, choose the perfect lunch box and jazz up left-overs for the next day’s lunch. What’s wrong with using inspiration to make grown up lunches?

Check out these great containers from Easy Lunch Boxes; packing food is made so easy. How often do you bring your lunch to work? Do you have any tips for packing your own lunch? Who’s in for BFL (breakfast for lunch)?
For more ideas or to check out others who have joined the challenge, visit the Brown Bag link on the side of the blog all this month. Happy Lunching.
